Why are the Spiritual Gifts, listed in Romans and Corinthians, not congruent?

I have heard this explained that all Spiritual Gifts are not listed, and that is why the text is different. Dr. Dale Bruhner - theologian and great man of faith - always said his Spiritual Gift was an irn butt, because he could sit and read for many hours.
